In 1974 the Faculty of Physical Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid was born, located in the University City, specifically in the Plaza de las Ciencias.
Its current faculties are the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Geology and with historical backgrounds in fields such as Astronomy.
It has modern laboratories, equipped with video projectors, audiovisual systems, public address systems, etc. Its classrooms with fixed and mobile seats, library, computer rooms and facilities are perfectly adapted to the regulations including those on access for people with disabilities, coffee and dining room. Even its WIFI network is accessible to almost the entire center.
For the detection of helium and nitrogen leaks, in these modern laboratories, the DURGAS system has been selected, with the DURTOX O2 detectors designed and manufactured by Durán Electrónica.
