José María Soler tunnel, Madrid

Replacement of the detection system and Opacimeters.

The José María Soler tunnel runs under the square that gives its name to the tunnel and it is part of the so-called “Nudo Costa Rica”, in the city of Madrid. The underpass connects Costa Rica street with the Gran Vía de Hortaleza, facilitating the entry and exit to the M-30 (ring motorway).

“Nudo Costa Rica” is part of the burial of the M-30, promoted by Mayor Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón during his first term. Thanks to this action, road traffic and noise pollution were reduced in the José María Soler square.

For its conservation and improvement the tunnel ventilation system is updated by changing the old detection system for our DURGAS system designed and manufactured by DURÁN ELECTRÓNICA. A SENTRY opacimeter, distributed by DURAN ELECTRONICA, has also been installed.
