DURGAS and CO & CO2 detection.

The National Institute of Aerospace Technology “Esteban Terradas”, known as INTA, is a Public Research Organization (OPI) which is part of the Ministry of Defence. Its work focuses on research and technological development, in areas such as aeronautics, space, hydrodynamics, security and defence.

Founded in 1942 by the naval, industrial and aeronautical engineer Esteban Terradas, to which it owes its name; It has two operations centres and central headquarters. Its buildings are scattered throughout the Spanish geography. The headquarters are located in Torrejón de Ardóz (Madrid), the MDSCC in Robledo de Chavela (Ávila) and the Testing Centre “El Arenosillo” in Huelva (Andalusia).

In its aircraft engine testing laboratory, DURGAS system has been installed with EURODETECTORS of CO and CO2, both designed and manufactured by Durán Electrónica.
