MAY 2024. DURGAS CO Detection

The Picasso Tower is a 43-storey, 157-metre high skyscraper in the AZCA complex, the financial heart of Madrid, home to many large companies.

With slender lines and white finishes, it is a copy of the Rainier Tower in Seattle, USA. Its façade has a high level of thermal and acoustic insulation. Construction began in 1980 and it was inaugurated in 1989. The total surface area is 121,000 m², of which 71,700 m² is office space.

It is equipped with 18 double-cab lifts in the central part of the building supporting more than 7,500 people per day at a speed of 6 metres per second. The upper floor of the 45th floor is used as a heliport, while the 1st basement has a commercial area.

It has 837 parking spaces in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th basements, offering the necessary space for more than 5,000 people who work there every day, as well as visitors.

For this garage, Torre Picasso trusts again in Durán Electrónica replacing the old CERGAS system with EURODETECTORS by DURGAS system, with DURPARK detectors in RS485 for CO detection, both systems designed and manufactured by Durán Electrónica.
