Metereological stations on road.

The Society Concesión Ruta al Mar S.A.S., from Medellín, was founded in 2015 to design, operate, rehabilitate and build the road concession for the 490 km-long Antioquia-Bolivar section in Colombia.

The project contemplates a route connecting the industrial Department of Antioquia with the main cities of the Caribe region and Colombian ports, from the shores of the Cauca river up to the Dique waterway (Magdalena river) and goes through the towns in the Sucre and Córdoba Departments.

Maintenance services have also been included, so the contract has included an investment of $2.7 billions of pesos. This modern road infrastructure will have important consequences for the advancement of tourism and trade from Antioquia and the interior of the country, allowing the main centers of production and consumption to become connected and liberating roads from the saturation of heavy traffic as well as avoiding crossing mountain ranges.

The Antioquia-Bolivar road has been provided with the Compact Meteorological Stations distributed by DURÁN ELECTRÓNICA.
