Detection of NH3 and CO2 toxic gases in a brewery.
The international brewer AB InBev is spending overall $250 million to build a new brewery in Nigeria. The infrastructure will be located in Sagamu, Ogun State, in the South Western region. It will start operations throughout 2018 and will be the largest brewery of the group in Africa, excluding its facilities in South Africa.
AB InBev plans to merge its subsidiaries International Breweries, Pabod Breweries and Intafact Breweries, into a single entity named International Breweries Plc which will be listed as such on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE). The enlarged entity will be one of the biggest beverage manufacturing and distribution companies in Nigeria, based on installed production capacity.
In Nigeria, AB InBev’s portfolio regroups the following brands: Hero, Trophy, Eagle, Grand Malt and Castle Lager.
The installations of the new brewery in Sagamu will be protected by the DURGAS gas detection control panel and DURTOX and DIREX gas detectors, all designed and manufactured by DURÁN ELECTRÓNICA.
