O2 and CO2 detection in laboratories.

This foundation was created in 2006. It is an organization funded by the Government of Spain to develop R&D projects relevant to energy and the environment, so as to contribute to the economic development of the region of El Bierzo (province of León).

The foundation centers its activities in the development of projects related to technologies to capture, transport and geologically store CO2. These technologies are a powerful instrument to fight against climate change, as they help reduce carbon dioxide emissions from electric power plants using fossil fuels and from heavy industry.

To control oxygen and CO2 emissions in its laboratories the DURGAS system, designed and manufactured by Durán Electrónica, has been chosen.
