Toxic gas detection.
Coca Cola bottling plant for Angola is located in Luanda (Angola). The factory belongs to the Castel group, leader in the manufacture of beers and soft drinks in Angola, with more than 13 production units throughout the country. The building, with more than 10,000 square meters, has a 500,000 litres per day bottling capacity and employs over 50 people.
The plant has been modernised with the most modern systems in order to guarantee the product quality and the workers safety. For this purpose, they have implemented detection systems for NH3, which is harmful to humans and very common in agri-food industries that use refrigeration systems. The installation was carried out by a Portuguese company with extensive experience in refrigeration facilities in Portugal, Brazil and now Angola.
DURTOX detectors for the detection of NH3 designed and manufactured by Durán Electrónica have been installed in the engine room.
