January 2023. DURGAS, DURTEX X-HC PRO and fire detection

HVR Energy is the first green hydrogen production and supply plant for public transport in the Community of Madrid (Spain). The facility produces, in a first phase, 70kg of green hydrogen from electricity and water from renewable sources and is expected to reach 280Kg in a second phase.

The green energy is received via a transformation centre. The electricity and water are then fed into an electrolyser module, where hydrogen is generated by electrolysis. The hydrogen at low pressure (30 bar) then goes to the compression and supply module, where it will be compressed at high pressure (500 bar) and subsequently stored until it is dispensed for recharging the vehicle. DURAN ELECTRONICA has supplied its DURGAS system and H2 detectors for the generator and for the bus refuelling area, both of its own manufacture. It has also supplied the fire detection system.
