Detection of toxic gases CO and NO2.
Located in the district of Providencia is the old Hospital del Salvador, which was founded in 1871 as a result of high mortality due to various epidemics. To the north of this hospital complex is the new trapezoidal-shaped building. It borders Dr. Hernán Alessandri Street, José Manuel Infante and Salvador Avenue.
In an area of approximately 92,000 m2, it has a capacity for 641 beds, serving some 500,000 people: 31,000 hospitalizations, 24,000 surgeries and 370,000 annual consultations.
The design of the hospital is designed to reduce vulnerability to earthquakes with a structural isolation system, specific design of accesses, architectural elements and circulation. It also has state of the art medical equipment.
For the detection of toxic gases, the DURGAS CO and NO2 system and the INTEGRA-II Modbus integration module, manufactured by Durán Electrónica, have been installed.
