Ibérica de Sales was founded in October 1932. It exploits the salt deposits in Remolinos (Zaragoza) which have been known since Roman times. It main activity is the extraction and commercialization of common salt, rock salt and brine, which are intended for the animal nutrition, winter road maintenance and decalcification markets among others.
 
The company has a factory and office complex in the town of Remolinos and a warehouse in the city of Zaragoza. Currently it exports its production to Andorra, France, Portugal, Italy and the United Kingdom.

To control the ventilation system in its vehicle access tunnel, it relies on systems manufactured/distributed by DURAN ELECTRONICA.
