Parquesur is a shopping and leisure center located in Leganés, about 9 kilometers from Madrid, that features excellent access to the main urban ring road highways: M-30, M-40 and M-45, as well as very good connection by public transport, subway, bus and commuter trains.

It was opened in 1989, being one of the first great shopping centers in Spain. In 2003 a new expansion project of 43.692m2 added to the existing 107.494m2 was announced. The expansion of Parquesur in 2005 transformed the center into the most complete leisure and shopping complex of the Region of Madrid with more than 200 fashion, eating and leisure (12 movie screens, bowling alley, gyms) venues and a 4-star hotel.

Parquesur includes 5,800 free parking spaces, of which 1,500 are located in the underground car park. It offers spaces for electric cars and Teslas. There also also bigger spaces for family vehicles and for motorcycles.

Recently the carbon monoxide detection system has been updated with the new DURGAS system and DURPARK CO RS485 detectors, designed and manufactured by DURÁN ELECTRÓNICA.
