The Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Alcalá de Henares is located in the so-called University Campus, Km 33,600 of the Madrid-Barcelona road. It is connected by suburban train from Atocha Madrid and from Guadalajara. It is also served by intercity buses, and the scientific-technological campus can be reached directly by car on the A-2.
It occupies a large area of land with four parallel buildings of not much height, connected by galleries and surrounded by large landscaped areas. These buildings house all the facilities for teaching studies based on natural products with pharmacological action, guaranteeing quality and quantity in their different forms of presentation, as well as for the technological study that makes it possible to design active principles that exceed the natural ones, but without harming the affected organs.
The classrooms are separated from the laboratories, which in turn are divided into teaching and research areas.
For the laboratories in three of its buildings, the DURGAS system has been chosen with DURTEX HC PRO detectors designed and manufactured by Durán Electrónica.
