The completion of the remodeling of the old stadium of La Peineta, to become the new “Wanda Metropolitano” stadium of Atlético de Madrid team, is expected for summer 2017. It is a multi-use stadium in the district of San Blas-Canillejas, one of the most important areas of expansion to the northeast of Madrid.

It includes shopping and restaurant venues, improves access and evacuation ways, visibility and comfort. Provided with the best technologies: 3 giant screens, PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) panels and a 360 ribbon board unique in Spanish football stadiums.

It has an 88,000m2 facility and an approximate capacity of 68,000 spectators.

It offers greater parking space with 3,000 outdoor parking spaces and 1,000 inside the building itself for greater comfort.

The DURPARK system, designed and manufactured by Duran Electronica, has been selected for carbon monoxide detection in this emblematic installation.
