Detection of toxic gases CO and NO2, opacimeters and anemometers.

The Zheleznitsa Tunnel is located on the Struma highway (Bulgaria), which connects Sofia with the Kulata checkpoint on the border with Greece. The tunnel starts from the city of Simitli.

With 2 separate tubes each 2 km long, it is the longest road tunnel in Bulgaria. It has a complete equipment of necessary systems such as ventilation and lighting as well as closed circuit television, intelligent traffic management system, fire alarm, electronic access control system, SOS emergency booths, and audio and radio notification among others.

The detection of toxic gases is carried out with the DURTOX 4-20mA CO and NO2 detectors manufactured by Durán Electronica and for environmental control opacimeters and anemometers distributed by Durán Electronica have been installed.
